No power help please

I've had this model of ps2 for years and im kinda new to electronic repair im trying to figure out if this is a fuse problem. I learned how to use a multimeter to test continuity and im not sure which fuses to check. I've checked the power supply and it's getting 8.6ish volts so it's fine and it comes through to the board near the jack there's a white fuse that says 6.3A on it and the power comes to there but I'm not sure where to check from there....any help would be appreciated please 😁

Unplug the console. Check that fuse with your multimeter set to continuity mode (the one that beeps). One probe on one side of the fuse, the other probe on the other side of the fuse. Beep=good fuse, no beep=blown fuse.

Voltage dc, test the inputs and outputs on and around PWM IC MB39A116A.

@chrischris16630 When you plug it in are you getting the red "standby" light? If yes, when you press the power button what happens? If no standby light then possibly the pwm ic. Power comes in from the port, follow the traces from there. Check along the rails to find where power is flowing and where it seems to have stopped. Voltage dc. It's been a long time since I've worked on those. I do however think I recall that a faulty power button/ribbon cable/board can cause "no power" issues. The problem is there are several reason why a "no power" can happen. PWM IC MB39A116A a little below the power port on the back side of the board.

There is no red light when plugged in and I've replaced the power/reset switch and ribbon cable a while back cause i thought of that too and I still get no standby light on it
