Laptop shuts off after flexing/rotating the display

Hi,

My Asus Vivobook X515MA laptop bought less than two months has a problem with the display.

Initially after powering on the laptop and opening it , I can adjust the rotation/flex angle of the display perfectly fine without issues. But after using the laptop normally for a while (i.e browsing the internet, watching YouTube videos, web development etc.) when I try to rotate/flex the display again, the laptop just shuts off. Sometimes it automatically restarts, other times I have to power it on again manually. The Event Viewer on windows shows a critcal Kernel 41 power error occured. Maybe its a faulty connection but I'm not sure because I have never dropped the laptop. Could anyone give me suggestions of what could be causing the problem???

Just to double check; did you buy your laptop used? Because if instead you got it new, it should still be under warranty. It would definitely be desirable to get it repaired under warranty if that's possible.
