MacBook water in vents.

So maybe a week ago, I was keeping my macbook on the table closed. And then i spilled some water on the table, and some of the water, went into the bottom vents. So i layed it upside down. And then I shook the water out. So now I'm very worried. I spent 1500 on this machine. If anyone can give me a detailed explanation on how i can check if any water damage has been done. And I've been using the macbook for about a week. And working great! I did run self service diagnostics from apple, including the mac resource inspector(mri) and i ran the normal diagnostics multiple times. And no issue. And also i did benchmarks and compared them. And they were the same.

@altname - Is this a duplicate of your question? tiny bit of water in bottom vents(I forgot what side) its so odd to have two people with the exact same system with the same issue!

start by letting it air dry for 24 hours if it wasnt a large amount & it was only water. assuming you probably already did that, and there is no issues with performance, id assume water damage was minimal, and you might want to just do a thorough check and clean your Mac's internals. but if you do want to take a look, id recommend looking at this MacBook water damage - The definitive guide - iFixit

You’ll need to clean the area with 90% IPA as the water stain is the Minerals which is in the Water and corrosion it caused.

Did you review the Apple service manual which Apple now offers for your system? Here’s a link to it MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) Repair Manual jump down to the procedures section the last section is the uppercase. See if that helps you.
