Can You Install a 2.5" SATA Drive?
Below the NVMe port of the laptop, there is a slot for an 8-pin ribbon connector. Would it be possible to install a 2.5" drive in this place?

Hi Mark, your laptop does NOT support dual storage therefore there is no part available. You can upgrade the existing PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD to 4TB

I have seen the part you need for this available on a website called shopee including a picture with it plugged into the correct slot on the MB. IDK what the currency is but it is listed for a price of Rp183.00. I too was looking for this part but unable to find a US English speaking seller. If you go to shopee and choose Indonesia then search for "HP 14-fq sata connector" you will see it available for the fq series as well as other HP series. Don't know if that helps you. Good luck.

Yes, but the drive does not fit. Also the place where they would put the drive has no screw inserts for the drive chassis.
Second his BIOS does not support it either.
