Where can I purchase a new screen for my Pavilion, my dad dropped it.

I have this HP pavilion dv6. Its decked out with a i7-2670QM and no dedicated graphics and 8gb ram. My dad got it from America and finding a replacement screen down here at the Balkans is almost impossible. I also did a thermal paste replacement, and because the fan was making very concerning rumbling sounds i re lubricated it. It works like a charm now (besides the screen). Now my only use for it is to keep it as a server pc but i want to be ready for when ill have to return my main laptop to my job. So i really want to get this bad boy up and running so i can be prepared for the future. In case you lost track: Where screen pls

@filipmanchevski really not sure where you could source it in the Balkans. I can tell you that the LCD panel is a Samsung 15.6" LCD Display Monitor LTN156AT05 40pin LVDS connector. The original part number for the DV6 is HP 570095-001 and that is for a 15.6-Inch High Definition Widescreen BrightView LED Display Panel. The best is always to check the label on your LCD and do a search based on that. Of course, you will have to disassemble your computer for that. I actually was able to get the exact model number and all relevant information including: size, connector, brand and resolution by simply using HWINFO. By using it you can save a lot of time while fixing such issue.

I've confirmed that the model is the one you've listed. All i want is a straight forward link to take me to a website where i can get the screen.

According to some sources i found, only 3 things matter for it to work. Has to have: same resolution, same connector, same size. Is this true?

@filipmanchevski that is pretty much correct. Samse size to fit your laptops case and same connector, so the all the electrical and data connections are identical. Only that way will the LCD show the graphics.

The one you listed from Amazon, is a touch screen model only. Is that what your computer has? If it does not you may have issues connecting it to your computer,

No its not a touch screen model. It's a broken screen model. And i really need it fixed. (not forcing anything just sounds cool)
