loss of function in touchpad and drift on left joystick corrosion?

I bought a used steamdeck that was advertised as opened before. It had a waist-high fall and after that, the left joystick was always stuck in the -3000's on the x-axis and the touchpad was completely unresponsive . I assumed the ribbon cables disconnected or at worst the left button board broke. I opened it up and the cable seemed in place nothing had cracked but there was major corrosion seen in photo 1. I cleaned it with alcohol
