Sim card not reading after repair

Had to replace touchscreen/frame, Now phone won't pick up SIM card, tried installing bunch of times but still nothing. Even with screen busted phone and sim was working. I brake the tabs on the vibrator when removing it, which is right beside sim card slot. Would having to vibrator tabs broken break the connection for the sim card too. Also to you carry the vibrator, seen adhesive, but not vibrator.
