Hey guys. Every now and again I wake up and grab my AirPods, and upon moving they begin to make a chirping sound. The light on the case starts flashing (Like Find My) and the sounds are not as loud as those in Find My. Any idea what this could indicate? It chirps for about thirty seconds and then stops once connected to my iPhone.

That sound is the sound that AirPods make when they are separated from their owner's device. The idea is if you planted them on someone with the malicious intent to track them, the person would hear the noise every time the AirPods are moved and find them. Obviously, you're not doing that. When it makes the noise, have they been separated from your iPhone for a long time? Is Bluetooth on your iPhone left on? If either of these things have happened, that could be the cause of the noise.

@fixer85785 - Thank you very much! I do typically set my phone in Airplane mode during the night, so that would explain it. I did forget that the AirPods case has the same system as AirTag. Thanks for your help!
