The iMac G5, powered by the PowerPC G5 processor, was originally released in August 2004.

Is this Universal Voltage?

We use 220v, but this product is 110v is this universal voltage?

@dodo9171 let us know exact what model your G5 is. Next you would need to look at the power supply itself. Any outside label will only reflect the specs for the country that it was sold in. For example a product sold in the US will say 110V even so it could be a 220/240V device as well.

There are quite a few versions of the G5 iMac's, I don't remember if they all have a universal power supply.

The best way to find out is to review this listing EveryMac - iMac's locate your exact model, then open the page fully so you can then jump to the Ports tab section and lastly double click on the very last entry Power you should then see this: Details:100V-240V AC, 180W maximum If its dual Voltage.

on the bottom of the foot of the iMac it should write the voltage that the iMac can receive. if it says 110v and you plug it in a 220v, you will quite certainly fry the entire machine. verify the voltage first!
