black screen after a few minutes
I replaced the digitizer on this iPad and everything seemed to work fine. at some point the screen went black, but the whole device works perfectly.
I therefore disassembled the screen again, deactivated the battery and it turned on again, it worked for a few hours and then went black again.
I realized that the sensor, the ambient light one, is not correctly in its housing and is moving. Is it possible that the black screen depends on the poorly positioned sensor?

You can try shining a torch into the screen when it goes black and if you can see icons etc then it’s the ALS

Do you have auto brightness on, if so turn it off. If it is indeed the ambient light sensor then turning auto brightness off will fix it

Guys, sorry to be annoying, but do any of you know a solution?
Can you tell me if it is possible that the backlight diode on the motherboard has burnt out and possibly in what position can I find it on this specific model?

@olimpodei bc apple is the worst the schematics of the motherboard for their products doesn't exist. Also before you totally reject the sensor just please try to turn off auto brightness it will take 5 seconds and will totally rule out the ALS

It’s most likely a burnt resistor check x11035
