I’m afraid you need to replace the whole joystick to get that to work. Unfortunately you need to complete de-solder the old one and solder the hall effect joysticks in. But it is worth it!

so open up the module i have, i understand soldering part i dont mind. But is the hall effect compatible with the stick modules for the DualsenseEdge.

Thank you! i was able to order one yesterday arrived today. Now the challenge is removing the soder in the module. it is In there pretty deep.
My pleasure! Yes, this is the most difficult part. They are soldered on with "lead free" solder. So you need to turn up the heat to 400-450 to get it out. Once it is out, you can solder the new one back in which is easier to do! Good luck with the repair!
