Error code 1413 on Restore

I have a iPod Classic Gen 7

iTunes doesn't want to restore it, returns error code 1413.

I can not for the life of my find what is causing this.

Attempted Fixes:

  • Restore on MacOS
    • Music app nor Finder recognise the iPod
  • Changed ports on Windows PC
    • No change in result
  • Formatted the HDD (https://methodshop.com/erase-ipod/)
    • Maybe caused more issues now that the G: Drive shows nothing inside it

This is probably a Drive issue

iTunes gives out error codes they give a clue. Look for the error log itself in iTunes and upload that, it will give a more precise indication of what exactly failed at what point.
