Please help. The device resets randomly

Block Image

Hello everyone, I have an iPhone 13, version ios 17.6.1. I changed the screen and battery a few days ago, and since I got the phone, the phone restarted randomly. The seller said that it is for battery calibration and there is no problem, but this problem keeps happening. It increased when it turned off, the charge percentage was 85, when it turned on, the charge percentage was 77, for example.

Sometimes, when charging the phone, instead of increasing the charge, the charge decreased

I got to the point where I charged the charger to 100% and it restarted and showed the battery charge percentage as 1%.and gave a battery error

And in such a situation, the battery was not charged and the device could not detect the charging of the battery, so it keeps turning off.

Until after several attempts, the phone reached 88% from 1%

When doing a force reset, sometimes the battery error was removed and the device kept charging for several hours and did not turn off.

I took the phone again to the repair shop, they completely changed the charging flat cable of the iPhone, but this problem occurred again. I forgot to say that when I was on a call, it mostly restarted until I read the iPhone posts and saw that I was getting smc panic 0x4000. I asked for your help to solve the problem.

Important points: My repair shop was not an authorized iPhone repair shop, so before this problem happened, there was no problem with the previous battery, only the maximum capacity was 82.

My previous version of iOS was 17.5.1, after replacing the battery and moving the previous battery cable to display the maximum capacity of the phone or 3 tools, I rolled it back to the new version 17.6.1.

I will make a list of error reports, you can guide me

This is more likely a screen issue.

The error has nothing to do with a battery issue.

I’m guessing it’s something to do with a sensor on the screen flex cable. As it’s had a new screen .

Screen repair is easy to mess up. I’d say either the flex needs re-seating or the flex has been damaged.

Battery would come up usually as gas gauge error or something similar.

Where exactly is this sensor that you are talking about and what is its picture like?

So why is smc panic 0x4000?

tarafından

It’s saying sensor so I’d guess proximity sensor. However the 0x4000 I have no clue on . Pretty sure it’s something to do with that or something very close to it.

Actually you might be right it could be battery related ! Ox4000 relates to battery. So what has failed there then? Maybe take it back and explain your getting a battery error and re-reboots . Either the battery is faulty, they fitted it in an unorthodox fashion or there’s a fault on the board.

It’s been a while since I looked up error codes my bad!

Yes proximity is Ox1 totally different 💯
