Power button doesn’t turn off my DSi XL

Hi, a few hours ago I noticed the power button won’t turn off the system even after many times pressing it down. The button still presses down like it normally would but it doesn’t power off the system. The system still charges and I’ve had it running the game with no problem since I found this issue. What’s the best way to fix this problem with the power button? It seems like the only issue with my DSi XL at the moment is just the power button. Any help is appreciated!

This just happened to me just now and freaked me out. Just hold the button down really hard and it should shut it off snd click back in place. No clue what would cause that as im gentle with it but after applying the needed pressue its functioning as normal now.
