Best source for replacement screen in Australia

I'm looking for the most reliable and reputable source for a replacement screen. My MacBook is out of warranty and has no Apple care.

Are you looking for the part alone or are you looking for someone to fix your system?

Looking for the part. I have fixed ipads and ipods in the past. The guides are good.

@livfe this was deleted by iRobot. It must have thought you were spamming with that link :-) Rep points are restored.

@livfe - Paul Daniels doesn’t real sell parts, he repairs.

Hi Adam! Lucky for you I live in Australia! I have used TheMacParts folks before. Good service and nice quality parts. Here is the link for the display you need, I think that they've got it TheMacParts.AU - 2022 13” MacBook Air Display Assembly

Sadly I don’t know of any Mac parts houses in Australia. Does Apple offer access to parts via their self repair option which started up a few years ago. While not the cheapest option it’s the best one can do as Apple so kindly started locking parts to the logic board (parts pairing) so you can’t get a virgin display directly and get it to work as Apple only loads the firmware during manufacturing, but you can use a used display!

It seems Apple self repair store may not be available in Australia, yet.

@adam104 - Then the next best answer is to find someone heading your way who can hand carry the part into country. You’ll need to order the part with your systems S/N via a VPN connection to the country which Apple sells parts that can ship to your friends home to then transport to you. You will also need to use that VPN connection to access Apple to connect to their paywalled server to calibrate the display. Or take a trip to where you can get the part

That’s the only way some folks can get their iPhones and Mac’s fix now as Apple wants to own the repair parts business and not allow us our freedom to use what we can locally using real Apple parts from salvaged devices, or third party replacements.
