I need the data pinout of the subwoofer system cable?

I have a JVC TH-M303 Home DVD Theater system. The main unit lost DVD functionality and I used it as a surround system for my computer. I fixed a friend's home theater system with parts from my broken system and now I would like to use the sub-woofer from the JVC TH-M303 as a stand-a-lone. Can anyone help me find the correct data pin-out for the system connector on the backside of the sub-woofer enclosure? Is it possible to use the sub with out the main system component? I would hate to see a perfectly good amp go to waste.
