Have you adapted the current AC system in your truck? If you haven't, you need R-12 Freon, which is extremely difficult, if not impossible to find if you don't have a certification. Also, in order to properly convert to R-134A, you may need a new compressor, which will be able to handle the higher pressure required for R-134A. You will need a new orifice tube, R-134A barrier tubing, low pressure switch, accumulator drier, a retrofit kit, o-ring kit, and R-134A Freon. You need to purge the AC system of all R-12 before adding the new R-134A Freon. As far as the oil goes, you will need to know the model of AC compressor to know how much oil to put into the system. After all of this is completed, You will need to get a vacuum pump and evacuate the system.
