Rear Camera Not Working?

Hello! Let me first start this by saying that I am not a car guy. I mainly come from repairing tech stuff, but ifixit is where I get a lot of my answers so I came here. I am a recently licensed driver and my father is letting me use his 2020-ish (i dont know the exact year but its around there) Dodge Charger. Everything is good with it, except for the rear backup camera. it either glitches very badly, but produces an image, or its a blue screen, that says the camera system is unavailable. The tech guy in me just wants to say its a loose cable, but I don't really know for sure. Can someone tell me how I can check or a guide to follow?
