This question is about a corometrics 120 series that worked normally before (Ultrasound, Toco) and suddenly the fetal heartbeat becomes inaudible.
I didn't make any service for the monitor since 10 years.

Here's the service manual for the unit that may help.
Go to p.6-17 (195 of 440 pdf) and check if audio is heard when simulating the Ultrasound. Ultrasound audio volume from the rear panel speaker can be increased or decreased using the left pair of Volume push buttons.
