1 Got new broadband and now my firestick won’t work?
I just got new broadband internet and now my Firestick will only play movies? And not the tv channels it used to? The internet guy said it could possibly be because of the IP address? My stick used to say a certain town and now it says something different.. does that matter?
Why would it allow me to play movies but not the local tv channels, I had been playing previously?
Is there a way to fix this without erasing and starting over? :(

Who is the service provider of the internet connection?
Did you get a new modem with the new internet or are you using the old one?
What is the make and model number of the internet modem?

Provider is i3 broadband. It’s a new modem. The box says DZS..

Just verifying that the local TV channels were "cable TV channels" i.e. channels connected using the internet and not that there's a TV antenna connected to the TV to receive the local channels?
At the moment the i3 broadband website is not responding (at least to where I am) so I can check what TV services they provide

Thank you for explaining that. I learned something. I bought an antenna for inside but not sure how to use it.. so I’ve always just streamed everything.. I was getting ABC, NBC etc.. live channels (wheel of fortune).. with the internet I had previously, but now since this new stuff is hooked up my firestick isn’t working the same :( So based off of what tv services they provide is what I will be able to stream off my firestick? Or whatcha sayin?

For some reason I can't access the i3 broadband website, but according to the search results the i3 website states:
"Smarter TV watching begins with a smart TV. Every show on every channel is instantly available to you with our interactive Channel Guide".
so you should be able to access them the same way as movies.
Was i3 the previous internet service provider you had or did you change providers?
Either way contact i3 and ask why you can't get the TV channels streamed online.
