Started to get CE-36329-3 and nothing works

Hi!

So my PS4 recently started to randomly shut off or reboot it self. It is not consistent, it can be while I am booting a game, downloading an app, wanna change a setting, heck even when I log into the console. I'm growing desperate here as I've tried everything I could think of.

Steps I've taken so far:

  • Initialization
  • Rebuilt database
  • reset to factory settings
  • tried to update but the console is on the latest firmware
  • I've reseted the console from safemode with a usb-drive
  • I've changed HDD twice with brand new SSDs
  • Tried to run the console on wired, wireless and no connection at all
  • Changed power cord
  • Cleaned the dust out from the console and applied new thermal paste (and pads for some where dry and broken)
  • The last thing I tried was the washer trick.

Please say that you have an answer for me what to do... This thing is driving me crazy for real.

@davidfaell15770 Alright, from what I have read at least to me like it can be a problem of one of 2 parts, the 1st one which I really hope is the one that is causing issues is the power supply, hopefully the capacitors or something in there is causing it to reboot and freakout, the 2nd one could potentially mean game over for your ps4, which is the motherboard. I have heard of cases of the main apu chip being bad causing this error.

Another thing I can think of with the power supply is at some point maybe the cord was pulled on too hard? You could try turning on the ps4 and wiggling the power cable, without unplugging it. If it shuts off immediately it could be broken solder joints on the ac cable connector on the power supply. If you haven't cleaned the connector already, I would suggest you do that as well just in case.

I forgot to mention that I've opened and inspekted the PSU and could not find any bad capacitors nor broken solder joints... So I guess it is game over then. Good thing PS4 ain't that expensive anymore.
