Before updating it was working before, after I updated it gave me a error message during update, so I turned it off, flipped the back switch to off and switched it back to on, and now the red light won’t appear anymore.

Hi!
What kind of error message did you get..? I know that if the WiFi chip is broken OR the disc drive, it will never completely update.
So, it won't boot now? Or won't even show the red light? You can try to boot into safe mode and see if that works, if not, it's possible that it's completely bricked and you need to get the motherboard replaced...
