Based on the image and the description, it appears that the user is experiencing an issue with the color display on their MacBook Pro.

Here's a breakdown of the issue:

  • Color Shift: The background color appears to have shifted to pink.
  • Border Issues: The borders of Facebook and other apps are displaying a light pink tinge, followed by a cream color.

Possible Causes:

  • Software Issue:
  • macOS Bug: There might be a bug within the macOS operating system affecting color rendering.
  • Graphics Driver Issue: The graphics driver for the integrated or dedicated GPU might have a glitch or be outdated.
  • Hardware Issue:
  • Display Cable Issue: The cable connecting the display to the logic board could be damaged or loose.
  • Display Panel Issue: There might be a problem with the display panel itself, such as faulty pixels or a malfunctioning backlight.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Restart the Computer: A simple restart can often resolve temporary software glitches.
  • Update macOS: Ensure your macOS is updated to the latest version. Go to System Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: If you have a dedicated GPU (like an Intel Iris Plus Graphics), check for and install any available driver updates from Apple or the manufacturer.
  • Check Display Connections:
  • If you're using an external display, try disconnecting it to see if the issue is resolved on the internal display.
  • If you're using a clamshell mode (external display only), try connecting an external display and see if the issue persists.
  • Safe Mode Boot:
  • Restart your Mac while holding down the Shift key. This boots your Mac into Safe Mode, which can help isolate software-related issues.
  • Apple Support:
  • If the issue persists, contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide troubleshooting steps or schedule a service appointment.

Additional Information:

  • Model: Knowing the specific model of the MacBook Pro (e.g., 13-inch, Mid 2019) can be helpful for troubleshooting and finding relevant support resources.
  • Recent Changes: Have you recently installed any new software, updated macOS, or connected any new peripherals? These changes could be related to the issue.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
