Ps3 with possible blackout error

Hello! I've had a PS3 in storage for about 3 years because it was defective. According to what I researched, the defect is called blackout, basically when I plug in the video game the light was red, when I tried to start it the LED would turn green and then turn off. I want to try to fix it on my own, I have knowledge in electronics. But I need some tips to get started, and I also wanted to know if it's still fixed, could you help me please?

Hi Samuel!

First I would open up the PS3 and clean everything inside. Also take the power supply out and clean it completely.

Guide: PlayStation 3 Slim Motherboard Replacement (You will only disassemble it, not replacing the motherboard obviously).

After this assemble it again and see if it works! If not, then most likely the power supply need to be replaced. But lets try cleaning first!
