Why does my Ps4 instant overheat when opening game?

Hi

My ps4 is somewhat old and worked fine for ages but I dropped it like start of last year and ever since it powers off evertime I open a game saying ps4 is overheated so for a while I left it in a box in my garage then I recently got the box back plugged the ps4 in and it was running games fine like it used to and then I dropped it again and it started doing the same thing again everytime I open a game it powers off. (dvds and netflix work fine for hours) I've cleaned it, and made sure it's in a cooled area I don't know what's wrong but I noticed that the power supply area of the ps4 heats up really hot really fast I don't know of its the fan that's broken and thats causing it do that or if it's the power supply it self and I've been wondering if I should replace them. If you have any ideas please help (sorry for long story)
