Right hand speaker no sound

So I bought a set of know faulty QC35 for the purpose of harvesting them for parts. But I thought I would try and fix them first.

Did a search and found some other question thread, but it didn’t help unfortunately -
- QC 35ii right side speaker not wrking.

So when I turn them on I am only hearing sound from the left speaker. Ive popped the r/h pod cover off, unplugged and re-seated the ribbon cable, no change. The cable from the speaker/s to the main pcb on that side appears to be physically fine.

So before I start further disassembly, can I ask if anyone else has had the same no-sound issue from the r/h pod and if so what was the fault and the fix..?

thanks.

So the fault looked to be the speaker driver itself, but to get to it you have to remove the innter pod that is glued down. And do do this you have heat up the inner-pod with a hot air gun set to low or a hair dryer set to high..

I had a heat gun but unfortunatly for me, even with it set to only 100c (the lowest it would go), I "somehow" damaged the PCB even though I protected it with kapton tape. The headphones would not longer turn on, so into the bin they went.
