No physical damage to screen or case itself but when the device is turned on the screen is black with white lines at top of screen, otherwise non responsive. Is it worth fixing? Thanks

Sounds like its probably the LCD, check with your local shops for quotes but average price in my experience would be $180-$250 depending on the shop.
