So my controller got stick drift and i stopped using it a year ago so i got a new one. Now i decided to see if i could fix my old one but it wont even connect to my ps5 even when plugged in. When i plug it in it flashes orange once then nothing else. How do i fix this?

Could be multiple things. I know that if you take the battery out, the same issue occurs (flasing orange and won’t connect). So maybe try a new battery first and see how that goes?
It’s a nice way to test the controller.
