sound or audio problem

My laptop is HP Probook 450 G2 and the sound or audio is not hearing when I use earphone or the earphone is plugged in. So, how can I fix this problem?

Please clarify your question?

You state "...sound or audio is not hearing when I use earphone" and then say ".. or the earphone is plugged in."

Can you hear audio from the laptop speakers with nothing plugged into the headphone jack or no audio at all from the laptop speakers and also when using headphones connected to the laptop?
