Filtre ölçütü:

Step 1: Generate Battery Health Report

  1. Press Win + X → choose Windows PowerShell (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. Type: powercfg /batteryreport
  3. Press Enter. It will save a file (usually in C:\Users\<YourName>\battery-report.html).
  4. Open it in your browser.
    • Look for:
      • Design Capacity vs Full Charge Capacity.
      • Cycle Count (how many charge cycles used).

👉 If Full Charge Capacity is much lower (like 50–60% of design), your battery is worn out → needs replacement.

Step 2: Try Battery Calibration

Sometimes the issue is calibration, not health.

  1. Fully charge to 100%.
  2. Use laptop until it completely shuts down.
  3. Plug in and charge back to 100% without interruption.
This helps Windows re-learn the battery percentages.

Step 3: Consider Replacement

If calibration doesn’t fix it, and the report shows degraded health, you’ll need a new battery.

  • The HP 15-bs0xx uses HP MU06 or MU09 type batteries (depending on exact sub-model).
  • You can check your current battery label by removing it.

Adapter Overheating

This is also common with older HP laptops.

Causes:

  • Using a lower wattage charger (yours likely needs a 65W or 45W HP Smart AC adapter depending on CPU).
  • Dust or poor contact in the charging port.
  • A failing adapter.

Fixes:

  • Make sure you’re using the correct HP-branded adapter (check sticker on adapter for wattage).
  • Don’t place it on beds/carpets while charging → use hard surface.
  • If it still overheats, get a replacement adapter (generic ones often cause issues).
