How to reset forgotten password?

If you fully power off the phone and then press both the volume buttons and the power button at the same time and hold until a picture shows up on the screen you should be brought to a code page. if so use the volume up and down buttons to go up and down and the power button to select, select data reset or factory reset then restart the phone. hope this helps.
