My trackpad stopped working
My lil sister dropped it from the sofa and the trackpad is not working it only works after hitting it several time and stop working when i restart the system

@mudassirah63693 could be that something got dislodged or has come loose in the touchpad, Maybe even just a dislodged ribbon cable. Time to open it up and to look at it. Use the ThinkPad L470 Hardware Maintenance Manual to work on your computer. For the actual repair/replacement of the touchpad, you may have to start exploring some different ways. Since the touchpad is identical to the T470, check something like this video to see if yours changes the same way.
While you work on your laptop, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
