I have a Vuse Reloaded

My vuse reloaded is a rectangular base with the C-type port on the bottom and it's a bit oval-ish shaped , my problem is it isn't charging , when I put it on the charger it shows a white light , if I leave the room the white light disappears even though it's still on the charger , when I take it of and pull it blinks a red light 5 times
