My macbook died and I have the SSD with my data. I am trying to buy an enclosure so I can extract the files.

@margaretwhedon It might help if you let us know what exact Apple 'macbook" this comes out off. Apple used SSD’s that use proprietary connections and are not M.2 compliant!

If anything, check the ones on here as well as this one

Thanks for your suggestions! The first one looks exactly like what the folks at Apple used to read it; unfortunately it is sold out. I'll look into the second option!
