5 ps3 slim data recovery
how do i recover the personal data from the original ps3 slim memory unit to another without the use of the console as the console may not be able to "fire up" as i do not think it is able to accept an offline update but i will try but all it kept doing last time was showing a please wait screen and shown this for about 30 minutes even up to a 12hr period and no success so how do i recover the personal data from the original memory unit to another one

Is the PS3 still original? As in not modded? So, the PS3 where you need to get the data off, is no longer functioning. Is that correct?
Also, how big is the HDD that is in there?

@dan0 I have never made any modifications to the ps3 since i got it over 10 years ago and I do not know what size it is as it says one size on the actual drive and another in the memory on the system so this is not certain

The PS3 Super Slim has 12GB flash memory on the board. All the other PS3’s (Phat, Slim) are only using harddisk with like, 320GB space (example). Does it still work your PS3?
