Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the Moto G Power 5G, a Motorola smartphone released in 2024. Identified by model number XT2415.

Possible Battery Charging Troubles

My phone would charge like normal, but then the eat away at the battery charge, and even shut off at random times, specifically around the 75%-65% area

Sometimes it would even read as zero percent, even though it's nowhere NEAR that; I've also noticed that the back has a noticeable bulge in it. Does this mean something is wrong with the battery itself?

@tonypitts all of what you are describing, including "the back has a noticeable bulge in it" makes it sound like you have a bad battery. It might even be possible that the battery is swollen to the point of putting pressure on the case. You do want to go ahead and replace it as soon a possible before it does more permanent damage.
