PS5 LAN Disconnecting/Reconnecting Repeatedly
I’ve been experiencing an issue with my PS5 where the LAN (Ethernet) connection repeatedly disconnects and reconnects almost instantly. This happens back to back , mostly within the first hour of turning on the console and starting a game. Sometimes it temporarily stops, but then the issue returns.
I’ve already ruled out the Ethernet cable by testing with another one, and I’ve seen others report similar issues online without a clear solution.
Side note: my HDMI port is loose, and I have to angle the cable for a stable display connection. I’m wondering if there could be any relation between the two issues maybe heat, board stress, or internal damage affecting both ports.
Would it make sense to replace the HDMI port first and see if that resolves the LAN issue, or is this more likely related to the Ethernet port or its solder connections?

I would bet its a heat-related situation. Especially if your console is fixed in the Vertical position, as this places the ether net port at the top edge - sitting directly above the ports where the internal fans vent excessive heat generated during gaming.
Had my PS5 since 2021, expanded my internal storage for an additional 2TB - and after 5 years, this bullshit starts happening? Conveniently enough, just in time for GTA6 to create enough hype that to cause a greed-driven inventory crisis (AGAIN !!!) for the 2nd time, since Covid - so the current scalp-rate has the cost of a PS5 Pro now fixed at the (currently) all-time-high price of $1,399 (a $100 increase from $1,299 - within the last 30 minutes...and apparently, this is the "last 1 available" - thanks, Amazon 🖕🖕🖕)
