Found my childhood 3ds but it won’t display anything. It turns on, the backlight and the 3d light obviously shine through, but nothing displays. Opened it up (ignore the result of stripped screws) and nothing seems out of placed or damaged. Also unplugged various parts and tried turning on but same issue. Am I missing something?

Could be many things…
First of all, is the 3DS modded??
It’s either related to a ribbon cable preventing it from booting (less likely) or motherboard related.
First try to remove the SD card and try again, does it work now?
If not, try to boot into the recovery menu and see if that works.
Hopefully one of the above works! Please let us know your findings :)!
