Random freezing, restarting by itself

My xbox is freezing during gameplay, mainly at the first loading screen I come across, rarely at the dashboard and I have to unplug the power cord to shut it off. Sometimes the wifi card isn't detected as well. I can play Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for 10 minutes before it abruptly shuts on and off by itself.

I've tried cleaning and repasting it, didn't work and I can confirm temps are low. I've also reinstalled the latest update.

Did you also tried to replace the HDD?

I would do that first and install the software again.

If it's still failing, try to replace the Wifi card and see if that solves anything.

I would try a new HDD first, you have some cheap ones at AliExpress and they do work fine.

I've tried removing the HDD before and it didn't do anything, I can run it without the wifi card and I still get the same issues so isn't that.

If all the above didn’t worked, same for the HDD, then you most likely have motherboard issues. Most likely the internal memory on it.. I recommend to replace that. It won’t be easy as soldering is required. You can replace the motherboard but this will be expensive.

@dan0 I have the Trinity model so was able to remove the 4gb internal memory, which fixed freezing during loading screens. The games now just freeze later on. The dashboard also wont respond to my input at times, but I'm able to open the smaller menu with the xbox button which does work.

Please replace it for a new one and install it completely as new.
