@zanderjr always check your settings first. Make sure that you have nothing running in the background etc. Run your phone in safe mode and see if it lasts considerably longer.
If so, check your settings and remove some of the 3rd part Apps that may be installed and causing this.
If all of your settings are proper, then it is time to repalce the battery. A worn battery will charge but will not hold a full charge and will run down empty quick.
