My phone was stuck in boot loop for a good day or so and I left it alone, now it won't even wake up. I left it on the charger for a day and still nothing. I just want the photos off of it. Is there a way I can do this myself or do I have to take it somewhere?

This can happen if an update is incomplete or was somehow interrupted during the update. This is not always an easy repair, but your phone hardware itself should be fine. If you are techie enough you could connect to a USB powered hub and try to boot through an external monitor. If that doesn't work you could do a hard reset, instructions for which can be found online. You can try holding down the volume key and the power button for approximately 28 to 30 seconds. Release it, and then try to power up normally and see what happens. Good luck
