"Shout® Color Catcher Dye-Trapping Sheet" is advertised to do that, they are primarily to prevent the problem (if you have an item that might bleed), don't know if they will actually remove colors already transferred. Walmart also has a "dye-trapping sheet".
Consumer Reports and others tested those products.

You might try, for a single discolored item, use the minimum quantity to still circulate, water of the hottest possible for that item (in a kettle, where water could be hotter than just tap water in the machine) with 3 or 4 of the sheets, then mix occasionally for a long time to see if there is much transfer to the sheets.
