Ear buds are not 100% waterproof. Water resistant like temporary rain, wiping off soon. Disassembly is difficult to impossible with glued, sealed ear buds to remove fluids. Damage with water may short circuit small, delicate electronics. Unless you're able to open them for cleaning to see if they can recharge and return to full operation, consider replacement.
