Laptop slow to respond
My laptop has become slow to respond and laggy. I tried to troubleshoot it or diagnose it, but I could not since it is very slow to respond. What should I do to fix it?

If the ThinkPad E595 has gotten slow over time, I'd start with the simple checks before assuming the hardware is failing.
First, try opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and check what is maxing out. Look at CPU, Memory, and Disk usage. If the disk is constantly at 100%, that is a common cause of a laptop feeling frozen.
A few things I'd check:
For the E595, I'd also check the RAM and storage. If it only has 8GB RAM, upgrading to 16GB can make a noticeable difference, especially with multiple browser tabs and programs open. If it still has the original hard drive instead of an SSD, that would be the first upgrade I'd look at.
Before replacing parts, I'd back up important files and check the health of the storage drive. A failing drive can make the whole computer feel like it's barely responding. Start with figuring out what is actually slowing it down instead of throwing upgrades at it.

@salihrajik64201 Have you tried turning it off and back on?

@salihrajik64201 is it slow loading and starting your OS or is it just slow when you are in your OS? What OS are you using? I assume some sort of Windows. If so, what version? What have you already checked and what have you already tried?
