NutriBullet is not working

A jam and stall is the usual way these die, and it's nearly always one of four things. Work down the list, cheapest first.

1) Let it cool, then try again. A hard jam trips the motor's thermal protection. Unplug it, leave it 45-60 minutes, plug it back in, and pulse it (short bursts, not one long hold). If it comes back, the protection did its job and nothing is broken. From then on: no ice above the MAX line, and pulse ice instead of grinding it.

2) If it is completely silent, check the interlock. Two actuator tabs sit on top of the base, and the cup pushes them down when you seat and twist it. If the tabs on the cup are worn, or a tab on the base is stuck down, the motor gets no power even though the cup looks seated. Seat the cup with nothing in it and press down hard while switching on. If that runs it, the tabs are worn: new cup, or new base.

3) If you hear a hum but it does not spin, the blade assembly has seized. Take the blade base off, keep the machine unplugged, and turn the blade by hand with a cloth (it is sharp). It should spin freely. Stiff or gritty means the bearing is shot from the ice and the blade assembly needs replacing. Do not keep running it; that is what cooks the motor.

4) If it is dead in every position and never hums, the thermal fuse in the base has blown, and that one does not reset. Unplug it, open the base, and check continuity across the fuse with a multimeter. No continuity means a new fuse, or a new base if you would rather not solder.

Two things tell me which of these it is: which model you have (600 or 900), and whether the light comes on when you seat the cup. Does it light up and stay silent, light up and hum, or stay dark?
