Since it is manufactured by Asus, and that is where you would register it, check their website. Of course, they are not going to cover damage under warranty. I know that some of the extended warranty companies cover damage or loss, but it's a little late for that. Here is what I got off of the Asus site. I don't know if this is the number you called, but if not, it's worth a shot. They must sell parts, either that or out of warranty repair.

From the teardown, it sounds like it's gonna be expensive. I'm surprised that the Gorilla Glass (a Corning product) didn't hold up.

Do you need them for a 1st gen (2012) or 2nd gen (2013)? Also there is a difference between the mobile versions of both so there are actually 4 different flex cables for Nexus 7s. I can help you regardless of which one/s you need but need to know exactly which model you have. The main difference between the 1st and 2nd gen is that the 2nd gen power/volume flex cables have a SMT (Surface Mount) microphone on them with a rubber cover.

Hi, you seem to know about this device. I could only find back covers for the 2nd gen without LTE. Do you know a source for the LTE-covers?
Thanks a lot!
