Background
The HP Officejet Pro 8620 is an all–in–one printer produced by HP released in 2014 and replaced in 2016 by the HP Officejet Pro 8720.
The Officejet Pro 8620 was the mid tier printer in the 8000 family between the 8610 and 8630. The 8620 has a 4.3-inch touchscreen with a single paper tray while the 8610 has 2.65-inch touchscreen and the 8630 has two paper trays.
Note that this printer is mechanically identical to the Officejet Pro 8630, so the disassembly and repair instructions and images provided there will also apply to this printer.
The 8620 can print black and white pages at 21 pages per minute, color pages at 16.5 ppm, has a 250-sheet input tray, 50-sheet automatic document feeder, 150-sheet output tray, a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, and can connect to the internet via ethernet or wifi.
Identification
To distinguish this printer from the others in its series, find the name HP Officejet Pro 8620 on the left side of the front face of the printer.
