Milwaukee Rotary Hammer 2605-20- - D14A (2016)

The Milwaukee 2605-20 is a cordless rotary hammer drill including an SDS chuck. This drill was released in August 2022. This drill is used for drilling combined with a pulsing, hammering action that breaks up hard materials as you go. The drill also comes with a hammer-only function for chiseling and a drill-only (rotation-only) function, allowing the product to adapt to different tasks on a project.

This drill is intended for use on large construction sites or demolition sites for tasks such as punching holes in hard materials like concrete or harder metals, doweling, and drilling through-holes. This drill used with bits for the SDS chuck can also use spade bits to dig into flooring.

This device has been discontinued by Milwaukee but can still be found online for around $450-$500. The consensus from buyers is that the product drills well through concrete, is lightweight, and doesn’t vibrate much compared to other brands. A common complaint is the battery life.
