Palm Treo Pro Repair

The Treo Pro was introduced on Janurary 5, 2009 and replaced the Sprint Treo 800W. It was available unlocked by Palm, and on the Alltel, Sprint, Tellus, and Bell networks. It is a similar design to the Palm Centro device. It only comes in one style and color, black. The aging phone was discontinued on August 18, 2011 when HP stopped production of all Palm devices.

The phone came pre-installed with the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, making it the fourth Palm Treo to run Windows Mobile.

The best way to differentiate between the Palm Centro and the Pro is to look at the top part of the keyboard, note that it is black where the Centro is silver. Though the best way to identify the phone is to check for the model number and name under the battery.
