Giriş
Use this guide to replace the ice bin in your GE side-by-side refrigerator.
The ice bin stores ice for dispensing through the door or lifting the flap door on the bin itself. It also contains an auger device that feeds the ice into a chute that leads to the door dispensing opening.
If the ice bin is not fully seated, dispensing problems can occur. The bin's auger can also have problems, either a bent shaft or bad bearings. Either of these auger problems will require bin removal and possibly replacement if the bin is damaged.
This guide was created using a GE model GSH25KGMB BB side-by-side refrigerator. Other GE side-by-side units should be similar.
